Dove, finch, oriole, pigeon, sparrow, and all variety of wild garden birds
Precautions: Manufactured in a facility that processes peanuts and tree nuts. Not intended for human consumption. Our seed is not poisoned with insecticide and therefore subject to attracting bugs, particularly in warmer weather. Bugs will not harm your birds (they confront them in the wild). We appreciate however you may not want them in your home. If bugs present themselves, simply place the bag of seed in the freezer for 24-48 hours.
Feeding Instructions: Feed 2 - 4 tablespoons daily. Adjust portions for proper weight maintenance and when feeding additional pets. Clean dish before each feeding. Always place some seed on bottom of cage/carrier floor when bird appears not well or is being transported.
Transition Instructions: When introducing a new food, begin with a mixture of old and new food, gradually increasing the amount of new food over a 7 - 10 day period. This will prevent digestive upsets as well as allow your pet to adjust to something new.
