Our seed is not poisoned with insecticide and therefore subject to attracting bugs, particularly in warmer weather. Bugs will not harm your birds (they confront them in the wild). We appreciate however you may not want them in your home. If bugs present themselves, simply place the bag of seed in the freezer for 24-48 hours.
